DePaul University Establishes Nu Chapter of Epsilon Nu Tau in Chicago
Chicago, IL – Epsilon Nu Tau has expanded yet again, now joining forces with DePaul University in Chicago. DePaul is home to about 23,000 students and offers over 130 different undergraduate programs. We’re excited to congratulate and welcome this new group into the ENT family!
Inducted into the fraternity on Monday, January 16th, 2017, DePaul is the Nu Chapter of Epsilon Nu Tau, as well as the first ENT Chapter in Illinois. The founding members of the Nu Chapter include: Alexander Sofronas, Mohammad Ihmoud, Matthew Bogner, Elan Modilevsky, and Sid Khaitan, along with their advisor & professor Patrick Murphy.
Alexander is the acting president. He is a Senior in the Honors Marketing program, and was a part of an entrepreneurship club before founding the Nu Chapter of ENT. When asked about his vision for the group, Alex proclaimed the following: “With a team of highly motivated business students, our goal is to connect and empower entrepreneurial students at DePaul, and forge a platform to launch successful businesses using the creativity and diligence of DePaul’s most ambitious leaders.”
The Nu chapter has already hosted two successful events on campus to inspire both men and women in entrepreneurship. They have also paired up with Blue1647, a startup incubator. This partnership has already strengthened ties between the university students, and the hot startup scene throughout the Chicago area.
