Gamma Chapter of Epsilon Nu Tau Voted Best Club at CSUF
Fullerton, CA – It’s that time of year again, where schools recognize all the hard work students have put in throughout the year. At Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, Epsilon Nu Tau has been recognized as the best business club on campus. The entrepreneurial fraternity sees it as an amazing accomplishment, as this is their chapter’s first year at California State University Fullerton.
Throughout the year, ENT had made it a point to do its best as a CSUF organization. In the fall semester, they spent time building a team to carry on through spring. After holding a few successful events, connections were made with faculty, staff, and local business leaders. Four additional members were added to the founding team, and ENT was ready to go big or go home in Spring 2011.
Spring found ENT in its first rush and pledge class. After rushing 25 quality individuals and having 19 pledging members, 15 made it through the process to become Brothers and Sisters in the ENT family at California State Fullerton.
On top of rush and pledge processes, ENT hosted a number of events on campus. They hosted visionary speakers Josh Fredenburg, Don Spini, and others, held professional development events with individuals from Product Camp and the Western State College of Law, and held panel discussions with amazing entrepreneurs like Steven G. Mihaylo and Brett Gibson. The team at CSUF also held a Start Up Business Pitch Competition with the CSUF American Marketing Association Chapter, giving away $1500 to the winning pitch.
These events, and many others, were what impressed student leaders and faculty to give ENT the award for Best Club. The actions of their President/CEO also garnered him the title of Best President, an award he shares with 3 others.
It’s been a FANTASTIC year in Southern California, and Epsilon Nu Tau is looking forward to many more like it.
